Integrated wine coolers are similar to built in wine coolers but are designed to slot into cupboards to create a floating look.

To install an integrated unit, a grille or inlet must be installed in the plinth and a small duct at the top of the cabinets, see installation diagram below for clarification.

This is to create an air flow were cool air enters from the bottom of the unit and warm air is allowed to escape from above the wine cooler.  If the warm air lingers, it will raise the ambient temperature and may lead to the compressor over heating.
