Integrated wine coolers are measured slightly different, the height refers to the height of the door which is usually slightly larger than the cabinet size to ensure it produces a seamless finish when the wine cooler is installed.
This type of wine cooler is the same height as an integrated microwave and can sit side by side this type of appliance. In addition integrated coffee machines also have the same aperture, coffee and wine go great together!
The cabinet size of this type of wine cooler is typically: H 444mm x W 545mm x D 570mm. Here is an example installation diagram - Diagram.

455mm aperture wine cooler:
Integrated wine coolers come in a range of sizes which are all generally designed to fit neatly into a 600mm wide kitchen cabinet. The smallest of the integrated wine cooler family is the 45cm integrated wine cooler, which is the same size as an integrated microwave or coffee machine, so they can sit neatly side by side if you incorporate a couple of tower units into your kitchen design.
The 45cm high integrated wine cooler has an aperture of 455mm and is a great way to add a little extra storage for a small wine collection. Typically, this size of wine cooler will hold between 18 and 26 Bordeaux bottles and we have a range of 455mm integrated wine coolers in black with a full tinted glass door, stainless steel or white and graphite from Miele. Recently there has been a few wine coolers that have been released with push2open technology, which is a great addition to a handle less kitchen.
Our integrated wine coolers will all feature interior lighting and wooden shelves, the distance between these shelves will differ as some manufacturers choose to have a lower bottle capacity but cater for champagne bottles such as Miele and Liebherr but others such as Dunavox, choose to have a higher bottle capacity and easily removable shelves to allow for larger bottles if required.
