Dunavox Freestanding Wine Coolers

Dunavox freestanding wine coolers can be divided into two categories; thermoelectric and compressor wine coolers.

Thermoelectric wine coolers are cooled via electrolysis and have a lower bottle capacity, these are perfect for small collections and on top of countertops. 

Compressor wine coolers work just like a standard fridge and cool via a compressor and evaporator system.  The benefit to these wine coolers is a broader internal operating temperature, which is both more reliable and efficient.

When installing a freestanding wine cooler, it is imperative you follow the manufacturers instructions.  This type of unit requires a minimum of 3-5 inches around the sides and rear and they should never be enclosed from above, for example, installed under a countertop for thermoelectric wine coolers, please allow 5-10 inches of ventilation space.  Learn more about freestanding wine cooler installation here.

For under-counter installation, you will need a built in wine cooler which has a vent at the front to allow cool air to be brought in to cool the compressor/evaporator.
