If the layout requires a little extra support, we’ll talk it
through with you first. In some cases, this may mean:
We’ll always be upfront, clear, and friendly about any extra requirements before anything is booked - no surprises, just a smooth delivery planned together.
Yes - before you sign for your delivery, it’s really important to take a moment to check everything over. Once the items are signed for, we’re unable to accept claims for damage, so a quick inspection helps make sure everything is perfect before you take it inside.
Here’s what to do when your delivery arrives:
Once goods are signed for, responsibility passes to the customer, and any damage would need to be proven as pre‑delivery - so this quick check really protects you.
If someone else might be accepting the delivery on your behalf, please make sure they know to inspect the goods properly before signing.
To help everything run smoothly, it’s important that someone is available on the agreed delivery day. Our freight partners will always contact you beforehand and usually let you know whether your delivery is expected in the morning or afternoon. If no one is there to receive the goods, or if the delivery can’t be completed for reasons outside our control, a re‑delivery fee of £170 + VAT will apply, and the delivery can only be re‑booked once this charge has been settled.
If you need to reschedule, just let us know at least 48 hours before your delivery date. Changes made on the day may incur additional charges, so a little notice really helps us keep everything running smoothly for you.
For access, we’ll always do our best to deliver right to your chosen location. However, if the property isn’t accessible for a two‑person team with a trolley, we may need to deliver to the doorstep or kerbside instead. That’s why we kindly ask you to share any access restrictions with us in advance - things like stairs, narrow pathways, or tight turns. This helps us plan properly and avoid any unexpected issues or additional charges on the day.
We’re here to make your delivery as smooth and stress‑free as possible.
