Republic of Ireland delivery information 🍀
Elite Wine Refrigeration are able to deliver across the UK, Ireland and most areas of the Scottish highlands on your chosen delivery date. (Charges shown below are inclusive of VAT).
Please allow for 7-10 working days delivery for 'in stock' items to allow us to transfer the goods to Ireland - you will be contacted by the local depot to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Understanding duties and VAT:
Elite Wine Refrigeration is registered for VAT in the Republic of Ireland with VAT number:
We transfer all goods from our warehouses in Chester, UK - the goods are all cleared and shipped DDP meaning the goods are delivered with duty paid and 23% VAT is applicable at point of purchase and collected by EWR.
There are no hidden charges in our operation, however, there are delivery charges applied which are listed below.

Delivery is between 8 and 6pm, MON-FRIDAY, the drivers will call ahead and an ETA is given when the delivery is booked in with you based on the route that has been planned with the local depot (the ETA is provided as a guidance only).
If you need to request a specific delivery slot, you can contact us prior to ordering or liaise directly with the local depot to make sure the date's and time's they are offering are suitable for your daily routine/obligations.
Delivery to the door option:
If you select delivery to the door only, the crew are not insured to bring the goods into the property and will not include removal of packaging or taking the wine fridge/cabinet up any stairs - please note that once the goods are loaded onto the delivery vehicle we are unable to change the level of service required so please make sure you select the correct one at checkout.
Unpack and position service:
The delivery team will deliver the item to the room of choice (ground floor), unpack, position and removal of packaging of the fridge and make sure it is ready to go for use - in most cases our wine fridges are plug and play and may just need the handle or adaptor attaching for use.
We ask that you check the access route for the wine fridge as some of our larger cabinets are very large when packaged and can be much taller/wider than a standard door frame - please note we are unable to remove doors, windows etc during the delivery due to insurance reasons, we would ask the customer to have this all arranged prior for the delivery crews arrival.
If there are stairs/narrow roads involved, please provide as much information as possible and contact us directly so we can do our best to ensure delivery goes as smoothly as possible.
Delivery vehicles:
Please note, due to the size of some of the units we deliver, our standard vehicle is an 18 tonne lorry - please ensure that a vehicle of this size can reach your property, if you are unsure please contact us prior to ordering as smaller vehicles are available, however, there may be additional charges.

EWR is VAT registered in Ireland and we collect all taxes to pay back to the local authority - we ship goods DDP with all duties paid so there are no hidden charges.
We aim to deliver all units with 7-14 working days for stock items and units that we have to bring in within 3-4 weeks. We have bi-weekly transfers on a Friday from our mainland UK warehouse. .
Our standard delivery is a 2 person delivery and you have the option to select deliver to your door or to the room of choice (ground floor), unpack, position and removal of packaging - if there are stairs involved or any tricky access points we will ask you send us photos before hand so we can ensure the delivery will go ok.
Our logistics company will offer you certain time slots for you to pick from and you will also receive an ETA via SMS on the evening/morning of delivery.

If your wine fridge develops a fault, please complete the form here at https://www.elitefridges.co.uk/pages/service-request. In order for us to assist you quickly, we require as much information as possible so we can review the issue. We will support you through the process of raising a service case - we are fully equipped with a network of technicians across the island to assist us with any aftersales issues.
We list the dimensions of every product within the specification, however if you are unsure please contact us on 0333 577 6466 - if you have attempted to install the fridge or no longer have the packaging, we can not accept a return.
Please remember that the dimensions will not include the handle within the depth.
If you are not happy with your wine fridge, please contact us on info@elitefridges.co.uk
We ask that you keep all the packaging and do not use or install the wine fridge so that we can resell as a new item. If you don't keep the packaging or it is installed, we will not be able to accept a return. Please note there are collection charges for all returns which vary from £80 / 85Euro up to £130 / 145 Euro depending on size and location.
Additional information
Signing for items at time of delivery
It is extremely important to check all items for damage before signing and accepting them. We will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork and accepted goods.
Please take the following steps:
1. If our delivery team have not already done so, please take the item out of its packaging (do not just look at the packaging)
2. Inspect goods carefully (all the sides, corners and doors if applicable)
3. If there is no damage, accept and sign
4. If there is damage do not accept or sign (you can instead write Delivery refused as item damaged)
Once goods are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damages and the customer is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery.
Please make sure that anyone who might accept a delivery for you understands this, please also make sure the person who is signing for goods on your behalf is over 18 and if its your 'acceptor' you are obliged to make sure they know they have to inspect the goods properly before signing.
Unsuccessful Deliveries:
Customers are responsible for being present for their delivery as freight companies contact customers prior to their delivery day and may advise whether it is an AM/PM delivery. If a delivery fails because there is nobody available to receive it on the day it has been booked or delivery fails for a reason out of our control, then a re-delivery charge of €120+VAT will be levied for the failure. The delivery will not be re-booked until this charge is paid.
Please note
We reserve the right to deliver to the door step or kerbside should the property not be accessible with a 2 person team and trolley. We request any access issues to be sent to us prior to delivery so we can make the necessary arrangements - should we not be informed of any stairs etc, we reserve the right to deliver to the kerbside or charge the unsuccessful delivery charge as noted above.
