Why choose Dunavox?

Dunavox are pioneers in the wine cooler industry and are widely renowned as an award‑winning brand. Most recently, they earned the title of ‘Best Luxury Wine Fridge in Europe 2025’. They’re known for combining sleek design with advanced cooling technology and were the first to introduce integrated wine coolers with built‑in ventilation. Dunavox coolers are manufactured using high‑quality components, making them both robust and reliable. Alongside their stylish appearance, the units are designed with low noise levels and energy efficiency in mind - so they’re not just good‑looking, but practical too.

Is the Grande range right for me?

The Grande range is Dunavox's answer to large-capacity wine storage. Perfect for serious wine enthusiasts storing 150-190 bottles, it is equally well suited to anyone planning to grow their collection or upgrade from a basic cooler to a reliable cabinet for wine protection. This model is ideal for anyone wanting a premium, full height wine cabinet that becomes a design feature in the home / living space.

Is the Grande range suitable for garage use?

Dunavox coolers are designed to recreate the stable conditions wines need to mature properly. The cooling system maintains a steady temperature, while an internal heating element ensures that even in lower ambient conditions your wines remain safely stored in cooler environments like garages, ensuring reliable storage year round.

What bottles will fit in the Grande models?

Dunavox base their bottle capacity on standard Bordeaux wine bottles, so it’s important to keep this in mind when choosing the right cooler for your collection. One of the standout features of the Grande range is its flexible shelving - the 10.5cm spacing between shelves accommodates larger bottles such as Burgundy and Champagne, giving you greater versatility beyond standard Bordeaux bottles.

Depending on the model, storing larger bottles than Bordeaux can reduce the cabinet’s capacity as you may need to remove a shelf. It’s worth checking the bottle loading diagram provided, as this shows how the manufacturer reaches the stated capacity.

What’s the noise level like?

The cabinet is engineered for quiet, continuous operation, featuring: vibration‑dampening mounts and quiet running fans for airflow management. It’s suitable for kitchens, dining rooms, and open‑plan living spaces without being intrusive.

Single Zone or Dual Zone?

Dunavox have a great selection of both single and dual zone coolers, and the choice really comes down to how you plan to use it. If your main goal is to store and mature wine in a stable environment, a single zone cooler is the best option. The ideal storage temperature for most wines sits around 12–13°C. If you’d like to store and serve different types of wine at their ideal temperatures, a dual zone cooler is a great choice. Typically, one zone is set warmer for reds, while the cooler zone is perfect for serving white wines and champagne.

Understanding the delivery process with EWR:

Delivery is between 8 and 6pm, MONDAY-FRIDAY, the driver will call ahead and an ETA will be sent on the morning of delivery (the ETA is provided as a guidance only).
If you need to request a specific delivery slot, you can select either a Morning (8am - 12pm) / Afternoon (12 - 6pm) slot at £54.

Unpack and position service:

The delivery team will deliver the item to the room of choice (ground floor), unpack, position and removal of packaging of the fridge and make sure it is ready to go for use - in most cases our wine fridges are plug and play and may just need the handle or adaptor attaching for use.

We ask that you check the access route for the wine fridge as some of our larger cabinets are very large when packaged and can be much taller/wider than a standard door frame - please note we are unable to remove doors, windows etc during the delivery due to insurance reasons, we would ask the customer to have this all arranged prior for the delivery crews arrival.

If there are stairs/narrow roads involved, please provide as much information as possible and contact us directly so we can do our best to ensure delivery goes as smoothly as possible.

Delivery vehicles:

Please note, due to the size of some of the units we deliver, our standard vehicle is an 18 tonne lorry - please ensure that a vehicle of this size can reach your property, if you are unsure please contact us prior to ordering as smaller vehicles are available, however, there may be additional charges.

Deliveries with special requirements:

Our standard delivery service is with a 2 person crew, for certain areas of the UK we may only be able to deliver via pallet delivery such as the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Channel islands and the Isle of Man.

For deliveries which have particularly difficult access routes to either the property or through the property, we may:
•    Need to charge for additional man power, cases vary depending on the delivery.
•    Need to charge for a small vehicle to be able to access your property safely
•    Need to charge for additional equipment that is not kept on a standard delivery vehicle

If you have access restrictions such as stairs, narrow roads, weight restrictions on the route to property we always suggest contacting us first to discuss the delivery so there are no surprises on delivery day and to avoid failed delivery costs.

Signing for items at time of delivery

It is extremely important to check all items for damage before signing and accepting them. We will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork and accepted goods.

Please take the following steps:
1. If our delivery team have not already done so, please take the item out of its packaging (do not just look at the packaging)
2. Inspect goods carefully (all the sides, corners and doors if applicable)
3. If there is no damage, accept and sign
4. If there is damage do not accept or sign (you can instead write Delivery refused as item damaged)

Once goods are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damages and the customer is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery.

Please make sure that anyone who might accept a delivery for you understands this, please also make sure the person who is signing for goods on your behalf is over 18 and if its your 'acceptor' you are obliged to make sure they know they have to inspect the goods properly before signing.

Unsuccessful Deliveries

Customers are responsible for being present for their delivery as freight companies contact customers prior to their delivery day and may advise whether it is an AM/PM delivery. If a delivery fails because there is nobody available to receive it on the day it has been booked or delivery fails for a reason out of our control, then a re-delivery charge of £170+VAT will be levied for the failure. The delivery will not be re-booked until this charge is paid.

Please note: We reserve the right to deliver to the door step or kerbside should the property not be accessible with a 2 person team and trolley.  We request any access issues to be sent to us prior to delivery so we can make the necessary arrangements - should we not be informed of any stairs etc, we reserve the right to deliver to the kerbside or charge the unsuccessful delivery charge as noted above.
