Freestanding or built-in installation

The FWS154D-BLACK from CELLA is part of the wine storage range meaning it is solely designed for short or long term storage of wine, there are a few features that make the CELLA range of products very usable products in todays wine cooler world. The shelves are all telescopic extending 80% of the way out and this model is also front ventilating, which means, should you want to install the wine fridge undercounter or built into cabinet - you can do with no issues as the hinges open within the recommended 600mm width.

LCD Touch Screen & built in alarms

The new CELLA storage units all feature an updated LCD display which allows you to easily control the temperature, lighting mode and there is also a built in child lock to ensure the settings can not be changed, ensuring your wines are kept safe.

All of the CELLA storage units also have built in alarms to keep your wines safe, there are numerous sensors around the wine fridge which monitor the temperature, whether the door has been left open etc - the alarms are both visual and audible.

Designed with storage of wine in mind

The FWS154D-BLACK has all the usual features that should be found in a wine fridge designed for long term storage of wine; one of the first questions we are asked is if there is a charcoal filter and whether the wine fridge has built in anti vibration features.

The CELLA products have an interchangeable charcoal filter which can be found on the back wall of the wine fridge, it is designed to be easily unclipped and replaced. The membrane inside absorbs any unwanted odours to ensure the odours within the wine fridge are controlled by binding to the activated charcoal filter membrane.

The source of vibration within a wine fridge is due to the compressor running, IE, when it is cooling, most wine fridges will have the compressor mounted on rubber bushes to minimize the vibrations given off by the compressor, on the most part this will absorb the majority of the vibrations, however, CELLA have incorporated some additional measures to help reduce this further.

The storage range utilizes an Embraco inverter compressor which is digitally controlled and means that it does not need to be running on full speed constantly, it has the ability to ramp up and down depending on the demand required and/or ambient conditions. This not only drastically reduces the amount of vibrations produced by the compressor as once the fridge is at temperature, the compressor will only need to slowly tick over, but, it also makes the wine fridges quiet and more energy efficient than other competitors within this price range.

Wine Storage Compartment

The capacity of the FWS154D-BLACK is 154 bottles, the shelf spacing allows for Burgundy bottles up to 85mm in diameter, anything larger and the lower section should be used.

The shelves are telescopic and allow you to extend the shelf out 80% of the way, giving you easy access to the bottles at the back of the wine fridge, there is also the option for Champagne shelves or glass shelves should you want to stand bottles upright or cater purely for Champagne bottles, the internal configuration can be adapted to accommodate your wine bottles specifically.

All of the storage range comes with a lock and key to keep your wines safe from prying eyes, each wine fridge will come with 2 keys in total with the accessories that come with the cooler:
