Getting a new wine fridge is an exciting time, if you need assistance with the installation of your new appliance then we are here to help.

In most cases, freestanding units will be positioned by our 2 person delivery team and do not need the installation service as they are plug and play units with no technical installation requirements - if you think you do need this please contact us to discuss: info@elitefridges.co.uk

For integrated or undercounter wine or beverage coolers which need to be fixed to cabinetry, hard wired in and/or positioned correctly within a niche then this will be done by our fully trained installation partner and includes position, unpack, removal of packaging as well as installing the new appliance into the ready made space - it can also include removal and disposal of your old appliance when adding REMOVE & RECYCLE to your basket too - we may ask you for some pre-install images to ensure we are supplying the correct unit.

What does our installation service cover?

  • Unpacking the new appliance and removing any transit fixings from the packaging
  • Positioning and securely levelling the new appliance in its niche
  • If hard wiring is required, the installer can also do this as they are fully trained 
  • Removing all the packaging and disposing of
  • Full testing the new appliance to ensure its operational prior to leaving

Before installation is booked, please ensure:

  • The electrical connection is within 1m of the niche and fully accessible
  • The electrical connection is from an earthed outlet, not an extension lead
  • The appliance fits within the correct niche as we are unable to accept returns on installation requests so this is crucial
  • The hinge side required, door reversals can not be done on site so need to be arranged before dispatch (chargeable)
  • If ordering an fully-integrated appliance; that the door panel fits neatly onto the new appliance

What we will not be able to do:

  • Make any adjustments to the cabinetry, plinth or electrical connections - the space must be made ready prior to the installers arriving as they are not insured to make any physical changes to your property.
  • The installer will not be able to install if it puts him/her at risk of injury 
  • Reverse the door on site - please arrange this with us prior
  • Connect to any plug that requires the plug to be cut off and fed through any small gaps in the cabinetry/worktop
  • Connect the appliance if it does not meet the recommended safety guidelines
  • Deliver to anywhere other than the groundfloor, the installers will not carry expert delivery equipment so the location must be accessible via the groundfloor.

Where do we offer installation:

Installation is offered across the UK mainland currently, we can not offer this service in Northern Ireland, Ireland, Channel islands or the Isle of man, however, our 2 person service should cover these areas without issue.  Please allow 7-10 working days for installation, it can take slightly longer during busier periods.

Please note that this service is outsourced by a 3rd party company and we may ask for pre-installation information to ensure the installation goes as planned on the day. On the day of delivery, you will receive a call from the driver in advance to let you know they are on the way to you - a link is sent prior for you to book in a specific day/window.

Please refer to the yellow box underneath the add to cart button, this indicates the lead time. 2-5 working day items are our stock items if you need the wine cooler quickly.

We offer this service in certain areas of the UK as we use a specialist logistics company for this, please enquire directly as to whether we offer this service in your area. Please note, this service is not available in Northern Ireland and Republic or Ireland. This service is at an additional cost and is not included in the normal price of delivery.

Delivery will be between 8 and 6pm Monday - Friday, the driver will call the recipient before delivery and an ETA will be given on the morning of delivery via email or SMS.

Yes, that wouldn't be a problem - for stock items we would store them in our warehouse for upto a couple of months. For non stock wine coolers, we would ensure they are ordered and ready for you when you require delivery.

We can offer a kerbside delivery here for an additional charge, for Jersey and Guernsey deliveries we can also remove the VAT. Please contact us to arrange delivery prior to ordering so we can remove the VAT as required.

We offer our 2 person delivery to the room of choice across the UK mainland, Northern Ireland* and the Republic of Ireland*, excluding the highlands. We may be able to offer this service if you are in the highlands or more remote areas but please contact us prior. If we cannot deliver with our 2 person service, we will be able to deliver to the kerbside using our freight network. Please note, removal and disposal of old appliances is not included in the price for delivery.

Yes, the majority of our units are delivered from our UK warehouse which means logistics costs are higher - if you wish to add the 2 person delivery service for Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland, you can add this at checkout, additional charges apply as indicated above. Please note if you choose the 2 person delivery service, the lead time will be longer as we deliver the units into our 2 person logistics provider based in Northern Ireland.

You can select different time slots at checkout for UK mainland deliveries, our normal delivery hours are between 9 and 5pm but you can select an AM/PM delivery or a specified two hour window as well.

If your wine cooler arrives damaged or you are unhappy with the quality of the item, please contact us immediately when the crew are still on site.

If you cancel your order and the goods are still in our warehouse, then there will be no charge - if you cancel your order when the goods have left our warehouse and collected by our courier, we will deduct the cost of the delivery from the refund. As an indication, the cost of this will vary depending on the size of the unit and will be in the range of £75 to £145+VAT.

We strongly advise you check the dimensions of the product before ordering, some of our products are ordered in especially for this order and means the order cannot be cancelled once the goods have been collected.
