Dunavox 170 bottle Three-Zone Black Tall Wine Cooler DX-170.490STSK
Dunavox are based in Budapest, Hungary and have been distributing their large capacity wine cabinets for 15 years. Their products can now be found in over 45 countries around the world and they have a focus on quality and reliability which isn't something you find very often in the wine cooler industry. With a huge presence throughout Europe, they have nearly a 50% market share in the wine cooler industry in countries such as; Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary and so on. Due to their development across Europe and more recently America and Australia, the quality of their products has earned them the title: 'The Wine Cooling Expert'.
Freestanding or Built in Wine Cabinet
The Dunavox DX-170.490STSK is a three temperature zone wine cabinet designed to be utilised as either a freestanding or a built in wine cabinet, meaning it can either stand a lone or have cabinets built around it to create a real feature in your kitchen, bar or restaurant. These models are suitable for both domestic and commercial settings and are a great alternative to Eurocave products and slightly more cost effective as well.
Kitchen - built in
The DX-170.490STSK is part of the kitchen line from Dunavox and is a full height wine cabinet which features blue internal LED lighting, a digital temperature display and a seamless stainless steel glass door which has a black handle to match. With 13 beech wood shelves on telescopic rails your bottles are easily accessible and the spacing between the shelves allows for bottles as large as a standard 750mL Champagne bottle without scraping the labels off.
Wine Storage Compartment
This model has a capacity of 170 Bordeaux bottles with all of the shelves mounted and has an internal operating temperature of between +12 and 22°C in the upper zone, +5 to 12°C in the middle zone and +12 to 22°C in the lower zone; so is ideal for long term storage and can be used for serving temperatures. This is also one of the quietest full height units we supply with an operating noise of 40dB and also has two fan functions, dynamic and silent to adjust to different environments as required.
The wine cabinet is also fitted with an internal heating element for colder ambient temperatures which makes it suitable for installation in an insulated garage or out building.
Ideal Storage Conditions:
The DX-170.490STSK is a great example of a long term storage cabinet which is very versatile with three temperature zones and gives you the option of a high capacity but without having to stack bottles - which can be a pain when you actually want to find a bottle to drink. The wine cabinet is equipped with a charcoal filter, active humidity management of between 55-85% which is automatically regulated ensuring the cork does not dry out. The door is fully UV treated which means you can create a feature in your home or bar without the risk of any UV damage.
High Quality Components
The large capacity models from Dunavox are some of the most robust and reliable units available on the market today. They have been developed over many years to the point where they are now just as reliable as a Eurocave and constructed from similar components. Dunavox know that poor quality components lead to noisy wine coolers, their products use the highest quality fans available to ensure there is no additional noise. Their ethos is to manufacture wine coolers that will last 10 to 15 years, with no expense spared when it comes to reliability. Dunavox offer a 3 year parts and labour warranty and 5 year on the compressor with all their Kitchen Line products which will help put your mind at rest.

Signing for items at time of delivery
It is extremely important to check all items for damage before signing and accepting them. We will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork and accepted goods.
Please take the following steps:
1. If our delivery team have not already done so, please take the item out of its packaging (do not just look at the packaging)
2.Inspect goods carefully (all the sides, corners and doors if applicable)
3. If there is no damage , accept and sign
4. If there is damage do not accept or sign (you can instead write Delivery refused as item damaged)
Once goods are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damages and the customer is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery.
Please make sure that anyone who might accept a delivery for you understands this, please also make sure the person who is signing for goods on your behalf is over 18 and if its your 'acceptor' you are obliged to make sure they know they have to inspect the goods properly before signing.
Unsuccessful Deliveries: Customers are responsible for being present for their delivery as freight companies contact customers prior to their delivery day and may advise whether it is an AM/PM delivery. If a delivery fails because there is nobody available to receive it on the day it has been booked or delivery fails for a reason out of our control, then a re-delivery charge of £100 + VAT will be levied for the failure. The delivery will NOT be rebooked until this charge is paid.
Freestanding wine coolers are designed to stand alone and not be built in to any cabinetry at all, we recommend a minimum ventilation space of 3-5 inches around the sides and rear of the unit. Do not install a freestanding unit under a counter top.
Thermoelectric wine coolers should never be built into cabinetry or have the ventilation limited in any way. They are designed to sit on the floor or smaller units are perfect for installation on a counter top.
