Climadiff are a French manufacturer of wine cabinets who have been producing their wine cabinets since the late 1990's, just after Eurocave started. They were amongst the first companies to enter into the industry and since then have developed a reputation for reliable and robust storage cabinets. Their focus is primarily on long term storage cabinets or ageing cabinets, however they do have a small range of freestanding and built in wine coolers for customers who do not require such large capacities or don't plan to keep their wines for 5 years or more.
- Energy Efficiency: 'G'
- Rated capacity: 294 bottles (750ml standard Bordeaux bottles)
- Installation type: Freestanding
- Temperature settings: 12°C +/-2°C
- Dimensions: H183cm x W70cm x D71cm

Freestanding Ageing Wine Cabinet
The Climadiff CV295 is a large capacity freestanding ageing wine cabinet which is designed for long term storage of wines. This exterior is manufactured from burgundy sheet metal which features a solid door to create complete darkness inside the cabinet and prevent any UV damage and also a lock to keep your wines safe. 2 wheels at the back of the unit allow you to manoeuvre the cabinet easily and a thermometer with electronic display ensures you can keep a close eye on your wines at all times.
A freestanding wine cabinet should have 5-10cm of ventilation space around the sides and rear to ensure there is enough cool air to cool the compressor.
Interior and Capacity
The CV295 has a very high capacity of 294 Bordeaux bottles which is achieved by stacking the bottles on the 4 Premium shelves that are supplied with the unit, to allow easy access to a small collection of your favourite wines. White LED lighting ensures there is enough light inside when the door is open and a charcoal filter ensures no bad odours linger inside the wine cabinet. The inside of the cabinet is manufactured from black sheet metal which helps with humidity regulation.
Efficiency and Winter System
Climadiff's ageing cabinets are highly energy efficient with the CV295 being rated as A for energy usage and they all feature the winter system which ensures peace of mind when installing in an insulated garage or out building. The winter system features an internal heating element and a much thicker layer of insulation than usual which helps with temperature regulation. The CV295 is suitable for ambient temperatures of between 0 and 32°C and will maintain the internal temperature within +/-2°C which makes these units a great choice for customers looking for a long term storage cabinet.
Differences between CV295 and CV297
Both units are fundamentally identical in terms of components and the way they cool/maintain temperature, the CV295 has the added benefit of the register being printed on the back of the door so you can record the location of your wine - everything else is the same.
Differences between CLA310A+ and CV295
Aesthetically they are similar apart from the colour of the cabinet, the CLA310A+ is Brown vs Burgundy of the CV295. The CLA310A+ has slightly upgraded internal components which means it is A+ energy rated vs A of the CV295. The CLA310A+ also comes with 1 sliding shelf, increasing the total number of shelves to 5 vs the 4 of the CV295 - The base model of all three units above is the CV297 so if you do not need the additional features, the entry level unit will suffice! All are manufactured in Portugal.

Please note if you choose the 2 person delivery service, the lead time will be longer as we deliver the units into our 2 person logistics provider based in Northern Ireland.
You can select different time slots at checkout for UK mainland deliveries, our normal delivery hours are between 9 and 5pm but you can select an AM/PM delivery or a specified two hour window as well.
No, we can not supply all of our goods throughout Europe, for the UK we have exclusive rights to most brands we carry. The only brand of wine cabinets we cannot supply in the Republic of Ireland is LIEBHERR - please note the delivery information on the product pages.
We offer this service in certain areas of the UK as we use a specialist logistics company for this, please enquire directly as to whether we offer this service in your area. Please note, this service is not available in Northern Ireland and Republic or Ireland. This service is at an additional cost and is not included in the normal price of delivery.
Prior to delivery, our email notifications to customers always include requests for any obstructions and/or additional instructions that may restrict delivery (for example, steps, narrow staircase etc). If in the unlikely event that the delivery is unsuccessful due to access issues, additional charges will be incurred.
For Northern Ireland and ROI 2 person deliveries, our logistics partner will contact you to arrange the delivery - at this point you should make them aware of any delivery obstructions.
We will not accept claims for damage if this hasn't been noted at the point of delivery - our delivery company will give you an opportunity to check the goods once unpacked and note any damage.
For kerbside deliveries, we strongly advise you to unpack the goods before signing for the delivery, especially if there is damage to the packaging.
We do not offer installation on integrated wine coolers as standard, we can offer this service with the network of sub-contractors we use. Please contact us if you need further assistance with this prior to purchase to see if we can offer assistance in your area.
Delivery will be between 8 and 6pm Monday - Friday, the driver will call the recipient 1 hour before delivery.
AM/PM delivery can be arranged at the time of checkout with a surcharge.
We recommend you contact us before placing the order so we can discuss the available delivery options - we are able to deliver to the whole of the UK and ROI but the level of service may vary.
A kerbside delivery is via a freight company and the wine cooler/wine wall will be delivered just to the kerbside so please make sure there are people on site to accept the goods. We strongly advise you check the goods before accepting - any signs of damage should be noted on the delivery note.
For kerbside deliveries, it is important to ensure the goods are checked before signing for the item. In the event the goods arrive damaged, please refuse delivery. Once the goods are signed for we can not guarantee the claim for damage will be accepted.
If you cancel your order and the goods are still in our warehouse, then there will be no charge - if you cancel your order when the goods have left our warehouse and collected by our courier, we will deduct the cost of the delivery from the refund. As an indication, the cost of this will vary depending on the size of the unit and will be in the range of £75 to £145+VAT.
We strongly advise you check the dimensions of the product before ordering, some of our products are ordered in especially for this order and means the order cannot be cancelled once the goods have been collected.
Yes absolutely, we have a vast logistics network that we use daily to bring in our goods from all around Europe and beyond - please contact us for delivery costs. Some of the most popular countries we deliver to are: Spain, France, Germany, Sweden and Norway. **due to Brexit, we have currently suspended our services**
Signing for items at time of delivery
It is extremely important to check all items for damage before signing and accepting them. We will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork and accepted goods.
Please take the following steps:
1. If our delivery team have not already done so, please take the item out of its packaging (do not just look at the packaging)
2. Inspect goods carefully (all the sides, corners and doors if applicable)
3. If there is no damage, accept and sign
4. If there is damage do not accept or sign (you can instead write Delivery refused as item damaged)
Once goods are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damages and the customer is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery.
Please make sure that anyone who might accept a delivery for you understands this, please also make sure the person who is signing for goods on your behalf is over 18 and if its your 'acceptor' you are obliged to make sure they know they have to inspect the goods properly before signing.
Customers are responsible for being present for their delivery as freight companies contact customers prior to their delivery day and may advise whether it is an AM/PM delivery. If a delivery fails because there is nobody available to receive it on the day it has been booked or delivery fails for a reason out of our control, then a re-delivery charge of £100 + VAT will be levied for the failure. The delivery will not be re-booked until this charge is paid.
We reserve the right to deliver to the door step or kerbside should the property not be accessible with a 2 person team and trolley. We request any access issues to be sent to us prior to delivery so we can make the necessary arrangements - should we not be informed of any stairs etc, we reserve the right to deliver to the kerbside or charge the unsuccessful delivery charge as noted above.
Northern Ireland & the Republic of Ireland information 🍀
Elite Wine has recently expanded back into Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland after the initial Brexit turmoil which forced us to stop sending goods across the water.
The good news is, we are now fully operational with a warehouse, logistics and servicing all supported across NI and ROI - You will probably have lots of queries about how our deliveries work here so below you will find a short guide.
There are not duties to pay as we customs clear all the goods when transferring to our Northern Ireland warehouse, VAT it charged at checkout so there is also no VAT to pay on delivery
We aim to deliver all units with 10-14 working days for stock items and units that we have to bring in within 3-4 weeks. We have bi-weekly transfers on a Friday from our mainland UK warehouse. The goods will arrive in Northern Ireland usually on a Monday and then you will receive a call from our logistics company to schedule a delivery date.
Our standard delivery is a 2 person delivery to the room of choice (ground floor), unpack, position and removal of packaging - if there are stairs involved or any tricky access points we will ask you send us photos before hand so we can ensure the delivery will go ok.
Our logistics company will offer you certain time slots for you to pick from and you will also receive an ETA via SMS on the evening/morning of delivery.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get this over to you!
If your wine fridge develops a fault, please contact us on email@example.com and we will support you through the process of raising a service case - we are fully equipped with a network of technicians across the island to assist us with any aftersales issues.
We list the dimensions of every product within the specification, however if you are unsure please contact us on 0333 577 6466.
Please remember that the dimensions will not include the handle within the depth.
If you are not happy with your wine fridge, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
We ask that you keep all the packaging and do not use or install the wine fridge so that we can resell as a new item. If you don't keep the packaging or it is installed, we will not be able to accept a return. Please note there are collection charges for all returns which vary from £80 / 85Euro up to £130 / 145 Euro depending on size and location.
As we develop across Ireland we are looking for new partners to help build our distribution network and showrooms - if you are a business and would like to work with us, please do get in touch: email@example.com
We can deliver all of our products to Ireland apart from Liebherr, if you order a Liebherr appliance we will unfortunately have to cancel the order - we can deliver Liebherr to Northern Ireland, though.
